Reinventing an Online Identity

Overview

The Oxford Collection have continued reinventing themselves over the years while carefully maintaining the essence of their well-known service. With digital sphere evolving, The Oxford Collection saw the opportunity to revamp their websites to take advantage of having a strong brand online. We partnered with The Oxford Collection to redesign their sister websites and integrate new third party booking software to leverage it.

We rebuilt the group website and created custom websites for The Room With The View, their penthouse room with panoramic views of Oxford, and the Mogford Short Story Prize, which has attracted thousands of visitors and encouraged them to enter the competition online.

APPROACH

Usability and Function

With an array of website comes the question of ease of maintaining and managing them. We chose Wordpress as the primary content management and website platform for this purpose. It enabled the The Oxford Collection team to manage it with ease across sister sites. Our latest work with The Oxford Collection involved designing a custom website for their penthouse room called The Room With The View. We also collaborated with them on their ‘short story prize’ website which is literature competition that has increased audience engagement for the The Oxford Collection brand and receives thousands of entries.

RESULTS

Spectacular outcomes

We helped The Oxford Collection create a winning email marketing campaign using Campaign Monitor. According to the most recent reviews, it has directly impacted their bottom line with a 30% increase in their revenue and a staggering 186% boost in hotel transactions. The email campaigns have reported a high open and click rates which have consistently remained above industry average.
